From Smart Sensing to consciousness: An info-structural model of computational consciousness for non-interacting agents

This study proposes a model of computational consciousness for non-interacting agents. The phenomenon interest was assumed as sequentially dependent on the cognitive tasks sensation, perception, emotion, affection, attention, awareness, and consciousness. Starting from Smart Sensing prodromal study, layers associated with processes were formally defined tested together other concerning affection. output consists an index that synthesizes energetic entropic contributions computationally moral perspective. Attention modeled through bottom-up approach, while awareness by distinguishing environment subjective processes. By testing solution visual stimuli eliciting emotions happiness, anger, fear, surprise, contempt, sadness, disgust, neutral state, it found proposed is concordant scientific evidence covert attention. Comparable results also obtained regarding studies investigating consequence repetition, well those judgments to disgust sadness. represents novel approach defining artificial emotional activity morality.
